Google Play Music today launched its debut original podcast on the music streaming service, as revealed by Google in a trailer for the new offering. City Soundtracks is available now to download on Google Play Music and iTunes. Titled City Soundtracks, the podcast provides listeners with a guide to the musical highlights of different cities and features a different musical guest on each podcast discussing their city. City Soundtracks is hosted by Hrishikesh Hirway of the Song Exploder podcast, and the first three episodes focus on Austin (Texas), New Orleans (Louisiana) and Oakland (California).
